What's Wrong With Our Country

During the “Great Depression”, many people lost everything they owned. Most of the wealth left America and never returned. The Federal Government decided that a tax was needed to help fund WWII, they never repealed that tax and that tax was voluntary. Soon, Congress decided that it would be easier to tax someone if they never actually saw the money to begin with; so Congress decided that the tax would be taken out at the employer level so the money never actually makes it to the paycheck. They believed that if the people did not have to write the check, they would be less likely to argue about it.

That worked and until this day, you can ask someone how much tax they paid and they will tell you that “I did not pay any taxes, I got a refund”. Their logic was that on April 15^th, they did not have to write a check and the government was sending them a refund, that they did not pay taxes. When in fact they paid an average of $1,800 in that year. But because they received a refund of $200 or $400, they thought that they did not pay anything. I hear this a lot and I have found that about 40% of the people I ask this to, they said the same thing.

Soon Congress decided that the lower end of the pay scale should not pay taxes, so they began creating tax breaks that gave most of their money (if not all plus some) back to them in a form of Welfare known as “The Earned Income Tax Credit”. This welfare actually gave the people who paid very little in taxes to begin with a large tax credit that was usually two or three time more than they paid in. An average taxpayer with two children earning $13,000 a year could expect to pay taxes of $1200. (These numbers are for example purposes only and are not exactly accurate.) After they filed their taxes they received $3,000 back in the form of a refund. That is a $1,800 welfare check anyway you look at it.

Soon Congress figured out that the more people who do not pay taxes the more people would vote for them. The tax burden shifted upwards to where it is today, the top 1% of the taxpayers pay 60% of the taxes. Who are the top 1% of taxpayers? It is the job producers and the investors who invest in new businesses and therefore new jobs. The Oil companies and the Wall Street traders and the people who work hard and the people who make other people money. So, what we are doing is to Praise the poor and congratulate them for underachieving while at the same time, punishing the people who make the economy run and pay your paychecks.

Today, we “Hate” the “Rich” and we “Hate” Profits. Why? Could it be that America has been taught to support equality for everyone and those who are “Rich” just are selfish? Could it be that America embraces failure and praises illiteracy? Could it be that the children of America have been made to believe that to achieve is only for the lucky and you have to be lucky and selfish to make money? Or is it something more?

I believe that back in the 60’s and 70’s, America turned to a new direction. Under the ruse of the need to help the poor, Congress began a steady regiment of taxes and increased spending. Why did they do this? Congress decided that to gain control over the people and to earn their votes, they would need a class of people who had no hope.

With a steady diet of “It is not your fault” and “you are just unfortunate”, Congress began to oppress a class of people who they believed could not help themselves. During this phase of the project, they learned that when you incorporate “Envy” of the “Rich”, you can gain popularity by raising taxes on them. The more a politician taxes big business, the better this special class of people liked it and the more votes they received. Soon, an economic upturn began with the conception of the Internet. Many individuals became “Rich” almost overnight. Congress saw this as an opportunity to take even more people off the tax roles in an effort to increase their votes.

Soon, 30% to 40% of the American people were not paying taxes. Congress was so happy that they could get all this money; they created special projects to increase their power and tell people that they have created new jobs. They did not tell you that these jobs are only in the government. They did not tell you how many private sector jobs were lost. Can you name this time period? I will give you a hint; scandal and impeachment was the result. Now we are here, today. America has the second highest tax rate on companies in the world, second only to Japan.

America has lost Hundreds of Thousands of jobs, manufacturing has moved away. Why did this happen? Congress in it’s zeal to buy votes and create a subclass of people so they would have to depend solely on the Federal Government for everything they need. They realized that they could do this to all the American people. The end result is a drive to a Socialist society. They realize that once all the companies are driven away and the Government could take their place, the people would have no choice in the matter.

This is today, a land of high earners that are being attacked and the poor unfortunate’s that can do nothing for themselves. We are now a land of the offended, land of the sympathetic and the land of Congress. There is an election coming up this November and both the President and members of Congress are involved. Remember that Congress does not care if you are well off; they want you to be suffering so they can get re-elected and blame 100% of the problems on the President, when only 50% of it was the President and the other 50% was Congress.

We will go two different directions this election time, one will be towards Socialism and total Government control and Two, back to the way it was when the American people took pride in their jobs and where America uses every means to make life better for all.

Remember that the Democrats want Socialized Medicine and higher taxes that raise prices on everything; they want a healthcare system that has been proven not to work in every place it has ever been tried. They will not let you have lower fuel cost, that would interfere in their agenda. The Republicans want Vouchers for your child to go to what ever school is best. They want to reduce taxes and increase the incentives for investing in new jobs. The Democrats what to make the “Minimum Wage” a living wage and that spells “Inflation” because everything is tied to the Minimum wage and if it goes up, everything else does too.

Remember that America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Don’t let your wallet get in the way of doing what is right for everyone. Don’t let the idea of free stuff persuade you into voting for the candidate that will give you something. Vote for the one that will lead us out of the slavery and bondage of High Taxes and Government control over every aspect of your life. Remember that in a Socialist government, you are kept down where you are and everyone else will join you. Welfare and the other social spending programs are in fact a form of Slavery and Oppression that puts you down and holds you there.

What three things has caused America to turn into the weakest country in the world? The title should be a great indicator of the answer. For too many years now the people have sat around and blamed everything on the President. You give the President way too much power, only a dictator has that much power. A dictator has the power to do what they want when they want and the people have no say in the day to day activates of government. A dictator makes the laws, a dictator makes the regulations and determines how any money will be spent, or even if it will be spent. A dictator surrounds themselves with “Yes” men and if you disagree, you are punished or killed.

So what does this have to do with America? America is not a dictatorship. Well you would be surprised to find out that in fact, we are. We have a dictator that directs the day to day activities of Government and the people’s wishes are ignored. We have a dictator that does not care what the people think, does not care how the people suffer. We have a dictator that is surrounded with “Yes” men. That dictator’s name is Nancy Pelosi.

Nancy Pelosi disregards the wishes of the American people and disregards how much the people suffer. She has informed the Democrats that are up for reelection to lie to their constituents and declare they are for drilling. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0808/12304.html

This is the definition of a dictator and the American people have no voice in Washington any longer. If the democrats in Washington get their way; they will do what is best for them and the American people can suffer all they want. Congress as a whole is supportive of Pelosi and her hijacking of the American Government. They support the ideals that a Socialist like Nancy Pelosi brings. They want redistribution of wealth, they want total control over what you can and cannot do and they want total control over what you have and what you cannot have.

That is what Socialism is; the definitions have change over the last 40 years. Look in the dictionary that is over 20 years old and you will see a more accurate description of Socialism. Socialism is where the government controls and the people have no other choice but to follow and do as they are told.

The fact that Congress wants businesses to move away and jobs move away is one that cannot be ignored. America has the 2^nd highest corporate tax rate in the World. I hear everyday that Profits are bad, taxes are good. Can that be anymore Socialist? NO! The Government has interfered in the free market so much that we really do not have a free market. We bail out companies that otherwise would fail, that’s not good. When a company fails it is because they made bad decisions and by bailing them out it allows them to continue to make those bad decisions over and over again.

By bailing these companies out; we do not allow room for others to move up and take their place. We do not allow the ones that make good decisions to move into the prominent spots. By blocking those spots, the free market cannot function as it should. Is this Socialist? Well, yes it is and the reason why is that Socialist want total control and you cannot totally control while there are people out there making the right decisions. You cannot bribe them if they do not need the money. That is where taxes comes into play, we tax our corporations so much that they cannot do business here and all we have left are the ones that follow the bribe money from Washington. Just like our education system does.

How do you control people? Lenin said it best “Give me four years with the children and the seed I sow cannot be uprooted”. Why do you think that our schools are in such bad shape? The teachers say the children and the children say the teachers; but in reality it began many, many years ago. With the slow integration of Socialistic principles the degradation began one thing at a time. The seed was sown then and has grown to the parents we have now. The seed that was sown has grown into the teachers and the teachers unions we have now. None of this happened overnight and it took years to accomplish. It is now in full bloom and we are at the point where we make the decisions, do you want the Government to do everything and you have nothing? Do you want your independents and individuality?

The Democrats say that the individual is a good thing, yet they group people into race, gender and sexual habits. If there is one thing I know for a fact is that the American people are a blend of everything. We came from everywhere and we are Americans; then why do the parties want to make a society of Multicultural groups? Could it be that it is easy to control by groups, because you get help from the last surviving group?

The individual is a great thing; yet the Democrats want to emphasize the differences and believe that they should be African Americans, European Americans and Asian Americans, that they should keep that culture and that leave’s no room for the culture of being an American. By focusing on the differences and not he common points, America is growing diverse and apart. We should be proud to be Americans and not worry about the other. There heritage should be strong and it should be a part, but not the majority part that the Democrats want them to be. Why is this important to the Socialist agenda?

By creating diversity and differences, you create a riff that keeps the American bond from forming and therefore makes it easy to control by groups. The major group that is being pushed on is the one that is self sufficient and able to survive without help from the government. The “Rich” is their name and the Socialist agenda has no room for them.

These people cannot be controlled, they cannot be bought and they cannot be made to follow blindly. They can be made a part of the Elite and controlling majority, but most do not want that. The socialist of America are taking control and degrading every aspect of her existence. This election is not about the President, it is about Congress and its Dictator.

In the past 20 years our job base has shifted from industrial to service. As a result, American has lost the majority of those Manufacturing positions to places like Africa and China. Should we care who produces these products as long as we can sell them?

Well the answer is an overwhelming yes. America is moving into the new century with less ability to produce but an ever increasing ability to consume. As a result, the wealth of America is being shipped overseas. Why is this happening? It is very simple and obvious to most, taxes. Our government has increased spending at a rate that we cannot afford; the war did not help, yet it is the only thing that is being pointed out as the cause.

The real cause is Congress and their ability to spend every dime that comes in along with every dime that will ever come in. Government programs after government programs we spend until we have nothing in the bank. Even after the government determines that a program does not work; they keep funding it while they create more. Can this continue without bankrupting America? We are already bankrupt; we have been for many years now.

How did we let this happen, well this might shed some light on the subject.

You see here that as long as I get mine, it does not matter what the outcome is. The problem is not that congress is corrupt; the problem is that congress wants America to be broke. They want our currency worthless, they want you totally dependant on the government for everything. Barack Obama has a plan for America that everyone should look at. His plan is socialist takeover of our lives; he uses the ruse that we must take back Washington, he is from Washington. His plans are to control you by using a tax increase on everything that is in existence. Your toilet paper will increase, your cars will increase and gas will be outlawed. The evidence is in his plans, look for yourself and if you do not see it, refer to my other blog post on “Why our Educations System is failing”.

The jobs are leaving because you cannot have a free market in a Socialist society. You cannot have “Profits” in a Socialist society. Just the term “Rich” makes the socialist angry, so if the “Rich” make you angry then you are a true Socialist. How does a government convert to socialism? That is a very slow process to make the people totally dependant on the government. Katrina is a prime example of this, people standing around with no clue as to how to help themselves. People were just standing around wondering when the Federal Government is going to save them. They did not know how to do anything, so they just sat around until the government came to the rescue. FEMA was blasted for their late attendance in Katrina, maybe that is because of our education system and the ineptness of the people to understand anything about our government.

It is the responsibility of the State to “Ask” the Federal Government to come in and help. The Governor of Louisiana did not immediately ask for assistance. As a matter of fact, they were totally unable to make any decisions or take any actions to prevent the hardship of the people that hired them to make these decisions.

Why did they not help before the flood? They themselves were a product of socialist policies and believed that the federal government was responsible for those decisions.

Lesson 1: The states are to control themselves and the federal government, hence Congress.

Lesson 2: All powers NOT directly given to the federal government are left to the Individual states.

Education, charities and taxes are to be at the State level. Why is it not? Maybe it is because in a Socialist society everything comes from the federal level. That is against everything that the Constitution stands for and dictates that should be. But why do we let them get away with it? Maybe it is because our education system is intentionally producing socialist children for a socialist change.

Why are our jobs leaving America? I believe it is because the government cannot control them so they make them move over extremely high taxes and other regulations that put too much burden on the companies and therefore drive them out of the United Socialist States of America.
